MESSAGE:
Obsolete Version Notice is displayed
CAUSE:
A new version is available or scheduled to be released. This message remains
dormant on your system until a trigger date set to coincide with the
approximate release date of a new operating system which has been announced by
Microsoft. For instance, Windows XP was announced to launch in late 2001.
Software released by us since Microsoft announced its intention to release this
new Windows version carries the obsolete version notice as a means to alert the
user that a new version is slated to be released by us to be compatible with
the new operating system.
ACTION TO TAKE:
No action is required. This is only a notification. This message will continue
to be displayed until the user updates the software to the latest version. The
software will continue to function as it always has.
You may at your option download the patch update
which replaces the obsolete files for you without requiring a full
re-installation. This file is approximately 1 MB and is a self extracting EXE
file that will only run on a computer running Windows 95 or later. If you use a
DOS only machine for your system then you should purchase the update on media
from Sensible Cinema at a nominal disk duplicating cost.
